  • In order to discuss the situation in the India-China border areas, PM Modi has called for an all-party meeting at 5 PM on 19th June. Presidents of various political parties would take part in the virtual meeting.  
  • PM Narendra Modi to dedicate to the nation the main tunnel & 5 underpasses of Pragati Maidan Integrated Transit Corridor Project today at 10:30 am. 
  • PM Modi to launch the First Ever Torch Relay for the 44th Chess Olympiad at the Indira Gandhi International Stadium in New Delhi at 4 PM. Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports Anurag Singh Thakur to also be present on the occasion. 
  • Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandviya will be on a visit to Madhya Pradesh today. He will be participating in a workshop on holistic management of sickle cell disease at IIITDM Jabalpur & would later visit the Bhopal Memorial Hospital & Research Centre. 
  • The first Sub-National Immunization Day for 2022 for administering Polio vaccine drops to be conducted from today in 11 states/ UTs viz. Bihar, Chandigarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand & West Bengal.  
  • India and Bangladesh to hold the 7th Meeting of the Joint Consultative Commission (JCC) in New Delhi. The JCC will be co-chaired by EAM Dr. S. Jaishankar and Dr. A. K. Abdul Momen, Foreign Minister of Bangladesh. 
  • Elections to 28 municipal committees and 18 municipal councils in Haryana are being held today. Counting of votes to take place on June 22.

  • CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) 2022 entrance exam to be conducted today
